The Prado at night

The Prado Museum will reopen its doors on summer nights in 2025 with an initiative that goes far beyond the usual. On the first Saturday of every month, different areas of the museum will be open free of charge during the night. The aim is not only to display art, but also to gradually bring it closer to everyone. The experience includes more than just paintings and sculptures. There will be live music, surprising digital offerings and moments that connect with visitors in a different way. For example, visitors will be able to explore multimedia experiences developed in collaboration with Samsung over more than a decade: from the Prado Guide app to the chance to discover how some of the museum's works have become part of the visual universe of "The Frame", Samsung's well-known screen.
